Lenggeng assemblyman charged with graft
Lenggeng assemblyman Mustafa Salim was charged with two counts of corruption at the Seremban Sessions Court Friday morning.
He is allegedly to have accepted a total of RM5,000 from a contractor on two separate ocassions last week.
Mustafa, who is a first term asemblyman, allegedly accepted the money in return for his support to enable the contractor to apply for sand mining permits.
He pleaded not guilty to both charges was released on RM8,000 bail.
His trial has been fixed for Feb 26 and 27 next year.
